Hello

Hi! My name is Pooja. I am an East Coast girl, originally from outside of Philly (Go Birds!). I have been a practicing occupational therapist since 2019 after graduating with my Master of Science in OT from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Philadelphia University. Following that, I moved to NYC to pursue my OT career where I worked at the Parkside School for children with learning and language delays. I also worked at a sensory clinic with preschoolers and did early intervention for children 0-3 years old. 

 

After COVID-19 began, I decided it was time for a big change to spend more time outdoors! I moved to San Diego in August of 2022 with my fiancé.  I was working as a school-based therapist before I joined At Play OT last summer.

 

I love my work in OT, especially building lasting connections with both children and parents. On the weekends you'll find me at the beach, working out, or snuggling up with my sweet dog, Luna! easy.
