Meet The Team

As the Clinical Director and owner of At Play OT Inc, I'm dedicated to ensuring that your son or daughter receives the best occupational therapy intervention. I strive to use a team approach when conducting assessments and developing a treatment plan. I take time to communicate and collaborate with families, educators and interventionist who are a part of your child's life.

I hold a license with the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT) and a certification from the National Board of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). I am certified in the Sensory Integration Praxis Test (SIPT) and the SOS Feeding Approach. I am also a proud member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
We are on this journey together to help your child grow and develop. I am in the business of building relationships that will foster their sense of achievement.

When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, doing yoga, and traveling.

Hi! My name is Pooja. I am an East Coast girl, originally from outside of Philly (Go Birds!). I have been a practicing occupational therapist since 2019 after graduating with my Master of Science in OT from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Philadelphia University. Following that, I moved to NYC to pursue my OT career where I worked at a school for children with learning and language delays, a sensory clinic, and in the home. After COVID-19 began, I decided it was time for a big change to spend more time outdoors! I moved to San Diego in August of 2022 with my partner, originally working as a public school based therapist before transitioning to At Play OT. I love my work in OT, especially building lasting connections with both children and parents. On the weekends you'll find me at the beach, working out, or snuggling up with my sweet dog, Luna! easy.
